The Gerroa/Gerringong area was once covered in a lush rainforest, which was cleared for farming upon European settlement. At Bullaburra, you can experience one of the last remaining pockets of this rainforest. The remnant littoral rainforest attracts an array of local bird life – the house has been designed to capture the song of the birds and the crash of the waves on the rock platform.
